It’s our favourite time of year here at BCCFP: Awards season! A time where patients and family medicine colleagues take the opportunity to recognize the vital work of family physicians across BC.
If you’re a family medicine resident or family physician here in BC, you can nominate one of your incredible peers in the following awards categories:
- BC Family Physician of the Year
- First Five Years of Practice Award
- Residents Awards (these include a $1500 financial award and can be self-nominated)
If you’re a patient and would like to recognize the vital work of your family doctor, you can nominate them for the My Family Doctor Award! Each year, five awards are given to family physicians from each geographic health authority.
