Kendra Johnston, Executive Director
Kendra Johnston is a community builder with more than 15 years of experience managing not for profit organizations. Most recently she was the Executive Director of the Downtown New West Business Improvement Area, leading that membership-based organization for more than a decade.
Kendra’s management style can be best described as servant leadership, highly collaborative and deeply supportive, focusing on creating a culture in which her team is empowered to thrive.
She specializes in not for profit operations, team building, stakeholder engagement, governance, communications, and advocacy. Kendra brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role, along with a passion for the values and mission of the BCCFP.

Dr. Rebekah Eatmon, Indigenous Physician Lead
Dr. Eatmon is a family physician serving both urban and rural Indigenous peoples at the Lu’ma Medical Centre in Vancouver, as well as Carrier Sekani Family Services in Northern BC.
She is Tsimshian from Lax Kw’alaams, from the Raven Clan on her father’s side and Métis on her mother’s side. She completed her medical training at UBC, where she participated in cultural safety learning as a resident in the Indigenous Family Medicine Program.

Kilee has over ten years’ experience in customer service, five of which have been spent serving members of non-profit organizations.
Her strengths include in-person and virtual event planning, member services, and administrative support for board and governance.

Erin is a purpose-driven communications specialist with a passion for using her expertise to have lasting social impact.
Throughout her career, Erin has worked with various organizations in Scotland, New Zealand and Canada, helping them to leverage the power of authentic storytelling to effectively communicate their mission and achieve their objectives.
With an MA in Politics and Business Management, she bolsters this experience with a keen interest and understanding of the sociopolitical landscape here in BC, and how it impacts family physicians.

She is committed to bringing her strong experience in the non-profit sector and project management to supporting family physicians across B.C. along with the values and missions of the BCCFP.

Ingrid is a dedicated Marketing & Communications Coordinator with a strong focus on digital content creation.
In Ingrid’s previous role as a journalist, she has developed a deep passion for storytelling, particularly focusing on mental health care. With a strong belief in the power of narrative to foster understanding and empathy, Ingrid is dedicated to using her skills to promote the role of Family Physicians to the public and ensuring the voices of Family Physicians are heard and valued.

Parveen Chand, CPA CGA, Accountant
Parveen is a CPA who has been working with the BCCFP since May 2021.
Parveen has over 25 years of experience providing financial management and accounting services to organizations in both the non-profit and private sectors. He brings a strong understanding of finances specific to non-profit organizations and working collaboratively with staff and board members.
