GET “REAL” – WE HAVE SMALL GROUP LEARNING

The BCCFP has been working hard over the summer to develop tools and resources to support Resiliency Education and Learning (REAL) Groups, our new small group learning initiative. REAL groups are designed to cover topics that are timely and relevant for you, and the members of each group choose the topic on which they want to focus. This initiative also provides you with an opportunity to earn Mainpro+ credits.

FPON WEBINARS FOR FALL

The Family Practice Oncology Network hosts nationally accredited monthly oncology CME webcasts with UBC’s Division of Continuing Professional Development. Presented by Dr. Gina Ogilvie, the Oct. 20 session covers HPV Vaccine and Cancer Prevention. On Nov. 12, the topic is Febrile Neutropenia, presented by Dr. Lee Ann Martin.

These complimentary sessions run from 8 to 9 a.m., and are accredited for one Mainpro+ credit each.To find out more, click here.

OCFP SCIENTIFIC CONGRESS

This year’s Ontario College of Family Physicians (OCFP) Annual Scientific Congress (ASA) is set for Nov. 24 to 26 in Toronto, the same weekend as the city hosts the 2016 Grey Cup. If you are interested in attending the ASA, please click here.
