A petition organized by two BC family medicine residents now has more than 12,000 signatures in support of an advocacy campaign asking federal Health Minister Jane Philpott to establish a National Pharmacare Strategy.

Drs. Justine Spencer and Kurt Deschner met Minister Philpott and presented the petition to her at last fall’s Family Medicine Forum. Since then, support continues to grow.

One of the key requests of Minister Philpott is a commitment to include a National Pharmacare Strategy in the Health Accord and work towards it during her mandate. Visit the online petition to find out more or add your support.
