The College of Pharmacists of British Columbia is proposing a significant increase in the scope of pharmacist prescribing in this province. As this will impact every family practice, it’s important that family physicians practicing in BC learn more about the Certified Pharmacist Prescriber Draft Framework and provide input by the July 15 deadline using the College of Pharmacists’ online survey.
The BCCFP will be preparing a formal response to the College of Pharmacists regarding the Draft Framework. If you have suggestions for the BCCFP response, please email [email protected] by June 30 so that we can submit in time for the July 15 deadline.
We encourage members to complete the online survey provided by the College of Pharmacists in light of the Patient’s Medical Home vision for the future of family medicine, as well as your current practice.
