Until March 31, we are accepting nominations from both patients and family physicians for the following awards:
- My Family Doctor Award (patient-nominated)
- BC Family Physician of the Year (peer-nominated)
- First Five Years of Practice Award (peer-nominated)
- Awards for residents and students (peer-nominated, opening soon)
We accept nominations year-round for our College Coin and Exceptional Teacher Honour.

Do you know an amazing family physician who inspires others, exemplifies great care, or benefits their community? Celebrate them with a nomination for a BC College of Family Physicians (BCCFP) annual award by March 31, 2021.
The BC Family Physician of the Year Award recognizes a family physician who provides exemplary care and contributes to excellence in family medicine. The First Five Years of Practice Award celebrates the accomplishments of a family physician in the early years of their practice, while the student and resident awards acknowledges up-and-coming family physicians.
