TUTOR-PHC is a one-year, pan-Canadian interdisciplinary research capacity building program that has been training primary and integrated health care researchers and decision-makers from family medicine, nursing, psychology, epidemiology, occupational therapy, social work, education, policy and many other disciplines since 2003. TUTOR-PHC trainees gain enhanced evidence-informed decision making & leadership skills to help them become the primary health care leaders of tomorrow.
What is TUTOR-PHC?
This innovative one-year certificate program (May 2020 –April 2021) in primary health care research skills and interdisciplinary theory and processes includes:
-An on-site Symposium in the Spring of 2020
-Two 3 week online research skill development workshops
-Two 7-8 week online interdisciplinary discussion groups
-Receive a year of mentorship from expert mentors across Canada

-Graduate students and post-doctoral fellows from Canadian Universities
-Mid-career clinicians
-Health Care Decision-makers
-Each trainee will be responsible for a $3,000 CND program fee
