On behalf of the BCCFP Board of Directors, and British Columbians, we want to thank all family physicians for your work around COVID-19.
We appreciate your diligence, commitment to patient care, and the resultant sacrifices that you are making during this time.
We have seen amazing leadership support and collegiality. You have shared tips about personal protective equipment, managing testing, telehealth, information for patients, and processes in efforts to best manage in these conditions. It really highlights the amazing work you do every day and the importance of primary care in the pandemic response.
We also want to thank and recognize the Doctors of BC, BC Family Doctors, CPSBC, BCCDC and the Ministry of Health, who are working tirelessly on keeping physicians and the population well informed, as well as organizing appropriate supports and infrastructure as quickly as possible.
We recognize how challenging this is and commend you for your effort.
