The BCCFP has launched My Family Doctor Cares – a province-wide awareness and advocacy campaign to bring attention to the value of a long-term relationship with a family doctor, and the difficulty that 700,000 British Columbians are having in finding a family doctor.

There are a number of easy ways in which members can help support the campaign. We encourage you to add your voice to the call for better support for family physicians and greater access to family physicians for all British Columbians.

Get involved by using posters, social media posts, photos and more

In the members-only Learning Vault, you will find materials to help you share the campaign message, including:

  • Posters to download and print for display in your clinic or office.
  • Social media templates and images to download and use on your social channels.
  • My Family Doctor Cares logo to add to your email signature or online presence.
  • Stickers you can request for use at events or to distribute in your clinic or office.

Access the Learning Vault now.

If you have trouble accessing the Learning Vault, would like to request hard copy posters, or have questions about the resources, please contact Holly McCluskey, BCCFP Communications Manager at holly.mccluskey@bccfp.bc.ca or 604-736-1877.

Coming soon

The BCCFP will soon post key messages for the campaign that you can use when talking about the campaign with others.

The Learning Vault will soon feature an email template you can send directly to your MLA. The campaign will also involve asking members of the public to write to their MLA.

The BCCFP is preparing a Position Paper, which will be provided to members shortly.

Thank you for your support of the My Family Doctor Cares campaign.
