The Urinary Tract Infections in the Primary Care Setting – Investigation protocol is available for External Review until January 3rd, 2020. This protocol provides guidance on appropriate testing for suspected urinary tract infection (UTI) in adults ≥ 19 years. It also includes guidance in certain populations with potential asymptomatic bacteriuria, such as the elderly, pregnant women and those who will undergo a urologic procedure.
