In this one-hour webinar, Dr. Zentner will provide an overview of the new Canadian Clinical Practice Guidelines for Obesity, helping us to better understand the approach to obesity in clinical practice. Dr. Zentner will guide attendees in developing key tools to use in everyday practice (especially with telemedicine) to engage in a conversation with patients about obesity.

About the speaker

Dr. Ali Zentner practises internal medicine and is a specialist in cardiac risk management and obesity medicine. She has successfully treated thousands of obese and overweight patients, and has lost 175 lbs herself. Dr. Zentner was the medical expert on the hit CBC reality series Village on a Diet and is a contributor to CBC’s Live Right Now campaign as well as a frequent guest expert on CBC’s The National and The Steven and Chris Show. She is the medical correspondent to Global National.
