On April 12, the BCCFP released the results of updated public and member polling that explores the state of family medicine in BC.

The research found that almost one million British Columbians don’t have, and can’t get a family doctor. Of those who do have a family doctor, 40% are worried that they will lose them to office closures or retirement.

The research generated more than 90 news stories in media across the province, including Global News, Vancouver Sun, The Province, The Globe and Mail, CKNW Radio, and Times Colonist, among others.

This page will be updated throughout the My Family Doctor Cares campaign to highlight media coverage and keep members up-to-date.
