The BC College of Family Physicians (BCCFP) is governed by an elected Board of thirteen Directors. BCCFP members are responsible for electing the Board of Directors and there are three vacancies in 2020/21.

The BCCFP focuses on the value and experience of being a family physician in British Columbia, advocates for the future of family medicine and provides CPD tailored to the needs of family doctors to support the delivery of quality care.

We seek directors who reflect the scope and diversity of family practice in BC with one or more of the following skills or experience: board and governance, financial literacy, advocacy, government relations and/or policy development.

Our election takes place from Wednesday, 9 September 2020 08:00 PDT to Thursday, 24 September 2020 09:00 PDT. The results will be announced at our Annual General Meeting on October 9, 2020.

BCCFP members eligible to vote will receive an email on September 9, 2020 at 8:00 PDT with an individual link to the ballot as well as specific information outlining the voting process. Candidate information can be viewed in advance at this link.
