Clinician Quality Academy is a professional development program delivered over an eight month period, beginning in April 2017. Participants attend four in-person residency sessions and work on a quality project within their organization or practice. Along the way they receive support through webinars, an assigned Improvement Advisor, and expert Faculty.

The curriculum of Clinician Quality Academy features content and learning modules that have been tailored to physicians. This includes a focus on clinical roles in leading quality and safety initiatives and an emphasis on case studies and peer learning.

This Group Learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to 122 Mainpro+ credits.

The University of British Columbia Division of Continuing Professional Development (UBC CPD) is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME) to provide study credits for continuing medical education for physicians.  This course has been reviewed and approved by the UBC Division of Continuing Professional Development.  This course is an Accredited Group Learning Activity eligible for up to 61.0 MOC Section 1 credits as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
