B.C.’s Lifetime Prevention Schedule (LPS) updates are posted at gov.bc.ca/lifetimeprevention. The LPS helps health professionals in B.C. determine the most effective clinical prevention services.

These services include screening, behavioural intervention and preventive medications provided by physicians, based on a patient’s age and sex. The LPS reports show priority services in B.C. based on each service’s clinical effectiveness, population health impact and cost effectiveness.
