The Certificate Program in Practice-based Research Methods is accepting applications from individuals who aspire to become independent PBRN research investigators and from experienced investigators who want to develop expertise in PBRNs.
The program is designed for individuals who have basic research training but who seek to develop knowledge and skills in practice-based research methods in order to successfully compete for research grant funding. To be eligible, applicants must have an academic appointment, a sponsoring PBRN, and arrange to be guided by a local mentor during the 10-month program.
Participants will:
- Receive training in PBRN concepts, skills, and methods,
- Be mentored by top PBRN investigators,
- Build skills that accelerate their development as research investigators, and
- Benefit from the opportunity to meet and interact with national leaders in the field of primary care practice-based research.
The program runs from September 2016-July 2017. Apply by April 22, 2016. Go to http://www.collaborativeohioinquirynetwork.com/pbrn-certificate-program.html for more information. There is no cost to participate in this research training program.
