Join a dedicated group of family doctors and their provincial partners to make a difference. The GPSC Provincial Recruitment & Retention Steering Committee (PRRSC) is a multi-disciplinary, collaborative committee that brings together family doctors, divisions, professional associations, health authorities, governments, educators and other organizations working towards ensuring that BC’s communities have sufficient doctors to meet patient needs now and in the future. A key part of the committee’s work centres on understanding physician needs and helping foster supports for newer and relocating family doctors. We are seeking a family doctor early in their career to join the PRRSC The PRRSC is a standing committee accountable to the GPSC.

The Opportunity We are looking for one BC-based family doctor, in the first three years of full service family practice with:

Knowledge of issues facing new to practice physicians in a community-based practice offering longitudinal, general care. Collaborative and diplomatic skills and experience.
